Biography

I live in a quiet suburb of Tulsa, Oklahoma with my wife and two daughters. I've lived in the Tulsa area since 1990. I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska.

I am currently employed with a large health care company (Fortune 18 last I checked) and work at the Tulsa office. My responsibilities include software architecture, design, and development for internet products. The applications in my domain are built using a mixture of C#, Java, and C++ and run mostly on the Windows operating system. I have been in software development professionally since 1987, but wrote my first computer game on the Apple ][ in 1980.

My interests include computers, video games, music, movies, sports cars, and whatever else grabs my attention. While I can't possibly build a static list of hobbies, my blog usually hints at where my focus currently lies.
